Assiniboia Downs (ASD) has another seven-race card scheduled for Tuesday (July 2) evening and it kicks off at 7:35 p.m. CDT. The Jackpot Pick 5 wager starts in the third race and runs through to the end of the card while the $1 Pick 4 with a $50,000 guaranteed pool starts in the fourth race. The final two races will both feature a $1 Classic Hi-5 wager as well.

The feature race of the night is the $40,000 Hazel Wright Sire Stakes in race two. The race is open to three-year-old Manitoba-sired fillies and the field of four will go 6 furlongs.
Best Bet
The best bet of the night the 2/5 favourite in the Hazel Wright Sire Stakes. Commandoslastdance leads the field with two career wins. Her last came in September last year at ASD at a mile distance. She has finished fourth place in both of her starts this year but still is widley considered the heavy favourite. She is a Going Commando sired filly and was owned by A2 Thoroughbreds along with True North Thoroughbred. Michael Nault trains Commandoslastdance and Prayven Badrie will hope aboard.
