CFL Fantasy Football Preview – Week 12

CFL Fantasy Football Preview – Week 12

Generally, this week the ‘momentum picks” (based on active winning/losing streaks) are the same as the home picks, with one exception being the Double Blue, holders of a 3-game win streak, visiting Montreal.

CFL Total Pick ‘Em

I’m riding with the home teams in every game except the aforementioned game. Toronto isn’t quite perfectly healthy but the Als are a bit more dinged up at some key spots, including the absence of pivot Vernon Adam’s, Jr. — so, I’m going with the Boatmen.

The dominant Bombers facing the slumping Lions doesn’t leave me with much to say, so I’m going Bombers.

In Hamilton, I don’t expect the Redblacks streak to end. All season long I’ve expected them to snap out of it, and this could be the game. But, I doubt it. Taking the ‘cats.

In cowtown I’m eagerly awaiting the I think it’s a toss-up again, but I’m giving the edge to the Stamps.

CFL Fantasy

I’m starting Bo Levi Mitchell at QB as both he and his game seem to have recovered from the early-season injury.

With Andrew Harris out, I’ve got Brady Oliveria in as my RB1 and Jackson Bennett as my value play at RB2. I expect Bennett, who is listed second on the depth chart, to get touches with Sean Thomas-Erlington having the “DTD” listing on Ticats depth.

My WR1 is Jake Wieneke and my value play at WR2 is Damion Jeanpiere who has proven he can light it up if he gets the touches.

I’ve been talking about the reemergence of Ka’Deem Carey and he’s my flex.
I’m going with the Montreal Defence, largely for pricing considerations.

DraftKings, full slate, classic mode

I’m looking, again, at everybody I have on this week’s team from CFL Fantasy but I think the pricing here may allow me to upgrade a couple of my value picks and go with Nic Demski and the Bombers DST as long as I make another change or two.  If so, I’m looking to add the bargain basement priced Duke Williams and/or BC Running Back James Butler.
