Assiniboia Downs (ASD) hosts another seven-race card on Tuesday evening with six of the events going at 5 furlongs in length. The one outlier is the third race which will be seven furlongs and the field will need to do an entire lap of the dirt track.

Monday Recap
Only one of yesterday’s top selections ended up being a winner. However, the one winner, Finalize came in at 9-1 and paid $21.40 off a $2 win wager. If a $2 wager was placed on all seven top choices, a total of $7.40 profit was still made. Four of the other six winners were in my top three selections.

Longshot Watch
The last race of the evening has a big field of 13 and most of the entrants are still very green. One of the more race-experienced horses in the race is Banker’s Day (Nonios). The three-year-old gelding has made four starts and has finished in the top three in two of them. The five-furlong race should be right up his alley as he has shown he can manage even longer distances. Banker’s Day drew post position one and will be teamed up with Renaldo Cumberbatch.
