Well, it was a mixed bag again for our fantasy plays last week. CFL Pick ‘Em was where we faired worst. We stuck with the favourites again and went 1-3. Should have listened more closely to 13th Man Sports’ Frankie Benvenuti, who tweeted that week that there looked like a chance for all 4 upsets. But for the Riders pulling things together in the 2nd half, we might have seen just that.
In CFL Fantasy the team had its highest weekly score of the season at 70.1 Points, good for 3282nd place for the week.
The best lineup went for 118.1 points and was made up of Nick Arbuckle 23 points, William Stanback 14.2, Ka’Deem Carey 22.1, Ricky Collins. Jr 10.2, Greg Ellingson 23.8, Devaris Daniels 24.8.
We faired a little better in DraftKings CFL plays as we went 2-1-1 in paid entries with our announced lineups, risking 78 units and cashing 82 for a +4 net.
Our announced four-game classic mode lineup cashed in. The entry we made with it coming 11th out of 39 entries (top 17 cash).
Our two game classic mode lineup also cashed, finishing 9 out of 23 (10 cashed).
We did not fair as well with our Showdown lineups (single game). Unfortunately, due to technical reasons, our Saturday Night Showdown entry did not run. We played Cody Fajardo, William Powell, Mitchell Picton and both Defences for a total of 54.04 points. Based on the low score of the game, and the fact that most Rider points came from the foot of Brett Lauther, that would likely have put us right on the cusp of the cash line.
Our Friday night Showdown lineup just missed cashing, coming in 13th with 70.8 points, just shy of the 75.5 points needed to finish in the 10th and final cashing position in a 23-entry contest.
As long as the net DraftKings has a plus every week, that means our bankroll increases. Because I had a pretty good week with MLB entries also, it was a decent week all-around. Our goal, every week, is to give you lineup information that can help you get a + net units, and thus, a growing bankroll on your CFL fantasy plays.
With that said, we are changing the Weekly Preview format to better help facilitate your lineup building for Daily Fantasy play.
