CFL Weekly Fantasy Preview – Week 8

CFL Weekly Fantasy Preview – Week 8

With the short schedule this week we have three games and three plays for you.

Total CFL pickem

The Ti-Cats seem to be whipping into shape, though Ottawa’s improvements could create trouble for the Tabbies with the REDBLACKS at home. Montreal has not been consistent, while the Lions have the chance to prove themselves for real at home.

Hamilton, Toronto, and BC are my picks.

CFL Fantasy

QB David Watford, RB William Stanback, RB James Butler, WR Lucky Whitehead, WR Jevon Cottoy, Flex David Hatcher, Defence Tiger-Cats.

Draftkings Full-slate Classic mode

I’m sticking with Watford, Stanback and the Ti-cats DST. For my wideouts and flex, I’m taking four of these seven.

Daniel Petermann, Kyran Moore, William Powell, Lucky Whitehead, Brian Burnham, Jake Wieneke and Eric Rogers

Watford’s low salary together with last week’s play makes him a clear choice. Ottawa’s lack of consistency also makes the Ticats Defence a good choice. Despite Montreal’s identity crisis, Stanback remains a solid play. Most of my other offensive recommendations reflect my faith that the Lions are legitimate. If the Als and Argos turns into a shootout Rogers and Wieneke will post good numbers while William Powell and Kyran Moore could be productive whatever the outcome of the Riders’ trip to the west coast. Finally, Petermann is an underrated play that can provide leverage against higher-priced options.

As ever, I do have to mention that I do sometimes make plays and play lineups other than those I suggest
