CFL Betting Odds & Ends – Week 12

CFL Betting Odds & Ends – Week 12

This week’s picks are based on lines provided by Bet99 on Monday evening.

Stampeders @ Blue Bombers – Maire’s Ride

The Stamps get their 3rd shot at the Bombers, who are coming off both their bye week and their first loss this year.

The Bombers are a 5-point favourite but I’m going to play it safe and take Winnipeg on the money line.

Tiger-Cats @ Argonauts – Labour Day Prelude

It’s the third installment of the QEW rivalry in 2022 with each team having previously won at home.

With both teams coming off tough loses, I’m going to go with the Argos (-3) to keep the home-field advantage alive and I’m betting they will cover the spread on Friday.

Roughriders @ Lions – Captain Canada Version 2

BC is a favourite again in the re-run of last week’s battle that resulted not only in a BC win but in the loss of Nathan Rourke.

I don’t think it is panic time for the Lions, but I’m not confident about what this week will bring, so I’m playing it safe again. BC on the money line is my pick.

Redblacks @ Elks – Basement Dwellers Part 2

It’s another home-and-home replay.  Both of these teams have trouble at home.  While I’m expecting the Elks to get the win at Commonwealth, I am putting my money on the Under (48.5) as I don’t expect this one to be very high scoring. This is my Play of the Week for week 12.

Last week’s strong results turned an already respectable season of picks into an even better first half.  Of course, past performances do not guarantee future results.

I do sometimes make plays other than those I recommend in Odds & Ends. Please enjoy the games this final week before the Labour Day weekend.
