Week 1 of the NFL Season is underway tonight when the Buffalo Bills face off against the defending Super Bowl Champions; the Los Angeles Rams. In this article, we will be looking at six bets to place to get the season underway

Cooper Kupp Receptions: (Over 7.5 +110)

Cooper Kupp coming off of the best season of all-time by a receiver is nothing short of spectacular. While obviously, it will be hard for him to replicate that, this line is a phenomenal way to start off the season on Thursday Night Football. Kupp comes into this game with a few new faces on offence. Allen Robinson comes into the receiving room in the absence of Odell Beckham Junior. However, in the NFC Championship last year, OBJ racked up 11 receptions for 113 yards. While doing this Kupp also managed to snag 9 receptions on 142 yards as well as 2 touchdowns. Competition on the field is not a problem for Kupp as he manages to excel as a slot receiver on his own. He enters this heavy-hitting matchup against the Bills defence who allowed 154 passing yards per game on 16 receptions per game in 2021. If even three quarter of these stats go Kupp’s way, has due for a big game and surpasses his over of 7.5 receptions.
Los Angeles Chargers vs. LV Raiders: (Chargers Money Line -176)

The Los Angeles Chargers found their way into bringing back some very important faces. Among the players that have been re-signed is WR Mike Williams. Williams lit up the league at the beginning of last year racking in 471 yards, on 32 receptions while bringing in 6 touchdowns. The connection that Justin Herbert is able to establish with his wide receivers is memorizing. This helps the defence not have to rely as much on stopping drives. With that being said the Chargers have massively improved the defensive side of the ball. They re-signed star safety Derwin James JR. James is electric in every aspect of the game and a fully healthy season from him can have a major impact on the Chargers’ record this year. on the other side of the ball, the Raiders have added a very important new face. WR Davante Adams signed with them this off-season bringing an electric college duo between him and QB Derek Carr into full effect. In this matchup against the Rams, we will get a first look at this new and improved duo in action. However, it is risky as TE Darren Waller has been battling a lingering injury during Training camp, causing a major disturbance in this Raiders offence. This matchup just seems like it is a win for the Chargers on both sides of the ball therefore you should hammer this money line on the Chargers.
Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks: (Broncos Money Line -250)

Russell Wilson, is the newest Bronco and former Seattle Seahawk. Who doesn’t love a good, brewing new rivalry? If there is anyone in the league who can light up a former team who looks depleted from its former glory… It’s Russel Wilson. We have heard nothing but good news coming out of Broncos training camp as Wilson builds new connections with his receivers. Courtland Sutton is among the names mentioned many times. Sutton and Wilson have found a connection that looks to be very confident, and if it is anything like his deep ball connection to Tyler Lockett, the Seahawks defence could be in for a surprise. While we know the Seahawks know how Wilson plays, they have just lost too much talent on the offensive side of the ball to be able to compete with this new fully loaded offence the Broncos have. This year the Seahawks look poised for a disappointing season, and we believe it will start in week 1 against the Broncos.
Elijah Mitchell Rushing Yards: (Under 59.5 -114)
The 49ers are playing a weak Chicago Bears team who allowed 76 rushing yards per game in this year’s pre-season. While that is a lot, the 49ers have an opportunity to take a look at Trey Lance on his feet, as well as rookie draft pick Tyron Davis-Price. This will halt Elijah Mitchell’s carries as well as his ability to pick up yards on the ground.
Kirk Cousins Passing Touchdowns: (Over 1.5 -145)

Kirk Cousins is a legitimate darkhorse MVP Candidate in 2022 and coming off another progressive season from star WR Justin Jefferson and a now healthy Adam Theilen, Cousins should have no problem hitting this over on passing touchdowns, regardless of the strong Packers defence. Kirk Cousins has many mouths to feed and has the opportunity to throw 35+ touchdowns this season.
Mike Evans Receiving Yards: (Over 68.5 -114)
Mike Evans is entering this season with 190 vacated targets on offence and 1775 vacated air yards. With the departure of Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski, as well as an injured Chris Godwin, Evans has almost no competition for targets. Brady and Evans have an established connection on the field and Evans will have no problem continuing his amazing consistency on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys with his over on yards set at only 68.5 yards. While the Cowboys’ interior defence is intimidating, Evans’s spectacular catch-in-traffic ability and route running should see him get 9+ targets and possibly some deep shots for extra yardage.
