Assiniboia Downs (ASD) has another seven-race card scheduled for Tuesday (July 2) evening and it kicks off at 7:35 p.m. CDT. The Jackpot Pick 5 wager starts in the third race and runs through to the end of the card while the $1 Pick 4 with a $50,000 guaranteed pool starts in the fourth race. The final two races will both feature a $1 Classic Hi-5 wager as well.

Longshot Watch
It’s not a huge upset but at 7/2 morning line odds, Rose Of Mooncoin could easily turn the tables in the fourth race. The four-year-old filly is making her ASD debut Tuesday night after making seven starts this year at Golden Gold Fields. She has a win and three-thirds during her time there this year and will be a tough competitor at ASD. Rose Of Mooncoin has been racing at 5 1/2 to 6 furlong races all year so she should be all good to go come post time. Wendy Anderson trains the filly and Antonio Whitehall will climb aboard.
Best Bet
The best bet of the night comes in the seventh and final race. I like I Am Mila enough to close out the Pick 5 that she will be my only single on the wager. The four-year-old is perfect two-for-two this year and is coming off a win at 7 furlongs in 1:28.52. She upset the field at 7-1 but led for almost the entire race. She went winless last year in eight starts and could only muster one second-place finish. However, things have been clicking better this summer with trainer Jennifer Jordan. Javaniel Patterson has been aboard the filly for the past two starts and will climb up once again.
