In week one of the Canadian Football League season, we picked the player who we thought was deserving of the 13th Man Sports’ Player of the Week honours but for week two, we decided to change things up. We asked fans to vote from a list of four names. Those four players were awarded our player of the game award that you can find in all of our game recap articles.

Week two of the season was full of entertaining football and great performances from some of the league’s top players. All of the players listed below had great games and would have made great choices for 13th Man Sports’ Player of the Week. Here is who was eligible for the award.

To say the voting was close would be an understatement. Reilly, Stanback, and Woodard were all separated by only a couple of votes and it was anyone’s award to win until the very end. As the clock struck zero on the poll, Woodard remained ahead and takes home our Player of the Week honours.
