Thursday Night Football was good to us, as game 1 of this week’s “Weekly 5” was a nice victory when we covered on the over. It was only a tier-1 bet but a nice start.
Let’s look at this week’s four other plays.

Chiefs at Colts — 1pm Sunday
The Colts have been one of the early season disappointments, but facing the Chiefs at home gives them the shot at a major confidence-boosting win.
Kansas City is giving just under a touchdown. I’m looking for the Chiefs to put up some points and I dont think Indianapolis has the capacity right now to keep up with the scoreboard-turnstile.

Chiefs, against the spread, giving the points. That my pick and it’s another tier one.
Rams v Cardinals — Sunday 4pm
The Rams are not the same group that won the Super Bowl. They are going into Arizona as favourites, by about a field goal.
Kyler Murray and the Cards were taking a lot of bad media until that late comeback last week.

I think the Rams can hold off the Cardinals to win this game, and I’m expecting the Rams offence to be a bit more prolific on the scoreboard this week as well.
I like te Rams on the moneyline. Since LA is not an overwhelming favourite, the payout on this one is good enough to roll with it as week four’s best bet.
49ers v Broncos — Sunday Night
Jimmy G has once again resurfaced, he’s like Terminator, he will always be back.
He leads the Niners into Denver on Sunday Night, with San Fran the slightest favourite.

I think the 49ers just have the better players right now. It’s always a risk picking the road team but I like San Francisco to cover the spread. I’m making this a tier-2 play.

Cowboys v Giants — Monday Night Football
This one may not win the prize for week’s most exciting game but Coach Daboll seems to have his team’s offence meshing.
The Cowboys have looked a bit improved on the offensive end with Cooper Rush behind centre.

We’ve had some early season success taking the “over” in these games where the over/under was below 40.
I’m going to stick with that formula on this one. Taking the “over” on a tier-2 wager.
