Up until last week when the Elks put up 276 rushing yards, The Roughriders run defence was averaging only 47.85 yards given up per game. With the loss of Linebacker Jameer Thurman, the run defence has taken a hit.
Ottawa is averaging 92.1 rushing yards per game this season. Armstead has been a steady force this season. His overall numbers don’t look favourable due to his ejection vs the Stampeders but he left that game with 22 yards on only 4 carries.
