The weekend filled with Labour Day rematches was a week filled with shocking results, good football, and plenty of entertainment. Once again, it wasn’t an easy choice to decide player of the game for many of the games, but four players elevated their respective teams higher than anyone else, earning their consideration for 13th Man Sports’ Player of the Week.

Below, all of the players who were considering for Player of the Week honours are listed. We turned to Twitter and Reddit to allow all of our followers a chance at having their voice heard in naming the sixth player of the week. Here is who was eligible!

POTG Candidate: Eli Harold
DL, Toronto Argonauts
3 tackles, 2 sacks

POTG Candidate: Nic Demski
WR, Winnipeg Blue Bombers
5 receptions, 134 yards, 83 yards after the catch

POTG Candidate: Stefen Banks
DL, Calgary Stampeders
7 tackles, 3 sacks, 1 fumble recovery

POTG Candidate: Bo Lokombo
LB, BC Lions

This vote was never close, and it could just be the Bombers’ faithful coming out and voting for their player, but you have to give credit to Demski for the great week he had. Demski dominated the vote on both Twitter and on Reddit, and it was never in doubt from the time voting opened to the time it close during the week.
