Week four was an interesting time in the Canadian Football League, especially with the Edmonton Elks and Toronto Argonauts game being postponed for the time being due to a COVID-19 outbreak in the Elks’ locker room. Although there were only three games this week, it didn’t take away from the action on the field.

To have your voice heard and to cast your vote to help decide the 13th Man Sports Player of the Week, follow us on Twitter and watch for our weekly polls. Players who win the player of the game award for their respective game will be eligible to be voted for.
Player | Number of Votes |
---|---|
Frankie Williams (HAM, DB) | 31 |
Jordan Williams (BC, LB) | 17 |
Marc Liegghio (WPG, K) | 77 |
The Blue Bombers have had concerns at kicker all season long with Tyler Crapigna struggling to make his field goals on a consistent basis, and while Liegghio was a time count violation away from missing the go-ahead kick late in the game, he was given a second chance and was 4/4 on the night. He did miss an extra point that would have been critical had Rene Paredes made his long field goal at the end of the game, but he came up just short. Although it wasn’t a perfect night for Liegghio by any means, he’s adding his name to the list of players who have won 13th Man Sports Player of the Week.
